Caval Interiors is a Toronto-based residential interior design studio led by Carolina Valencia, an interior designer with over a decade of professional experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Carolina brings a deep respect for craftsmanship and thoughtful planning to every project, creating timeless interiors that balance beauty with everyday functionality.
Before founding Caval Interiors, Carolina refined her expertise while working with some of Toronto’s most respected interior design firms, including Feasby & Bleeks Design and Powell & Bonnell. These formative years shaped her ability to design intentional, well-executed spaces, manage complex residential renovations, and collaborate seamlessly with trades, builders, and homeowners throughout the design and construction process.
Through Caval Interiors, Carolina offers a full-service residential interior design experience focused on family homes, renovations, and custom millwork design. Known for her thoughtful use of colour and texture, she encourages clients to move beyond safe choices — always with purpose. (Sometimes that means a gentle push, sometimes a confident nudge.) The result is a home that feels elevated, personal, and designed to support real everyday life.
Our 5 Step Design Process
1. Consultation
We begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your home, your lifestyle, and your goals. This meeting allows us to identify opportunities, define priorities, and outline a clear direction for the project.

We translate your ideas into a cohesive design direction using space planning, mood boards, drawings, and renderings. This stage establishes the overall look, feel, and vision for the space.

3. Design Development
With your feedback, we refine the design and finalize layouts, materials, finishes, and key details. Every decision is made thoughtfully to ensure the space feels balanced, functional, and timeless.

4. Implementation
We coordinate with trusted trades and vendors to bring the design to life. From sourcing and ordering to on-site coordination, we manage the process to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.

5. Final Walk-Through
Once complete, we walk through the finished space together to ensure every detail meets our standards and your expectations.
